Many people used to believe that our brain was and non-changeable after childhood. But recent in science tell us otherwise. Now we know that our brain is not fixed, it’s adaptable like plastic. Therefore, we’ve named this notion ‘neuroplasticity’. If we imagine our brain as a power grid, we can think of our actions, feelings and thoughts as being that light up every time we perform an action. Our habits and are the pathways that we are used to travelling more often. And the more we do a certain action or have a certain thought, the more these pathways . Likewise, we can learn to do or think something new. In this case, we will a new pathway that will be strengthened every time we repeat the behaviour until we get used to it and it becomes . At the same time, the old pathways as we stop travelling that way and repeating that behaviour. This process of rewiring our brain is called neuroplasticity and we are all capable of it. In fact, the last time you learnt something new or thought about something differently, you experienced neuroplasticity .
